HILLSBOROUGH William G. Stine died Feb. 4 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 66.
Born in Jersey City, he lived in Edison for 20 years, Hillsborough for 16 years before moving to Somerset in December.
Mr. Stine was employed as a bookkeeper at Elk Market in Hoboken for 30 years. In 1966 he began his own business from his home, Bookkeeper.com.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1955 through 1957 and then served in the Army Reserves until 1963.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Church in Bridgewater and a charter member of the New Jersey Devils Fan Club.
Surviving are his wife, Theresa Stine; a son, Neal; two daughters, Beth Bors and Krista Frick; a brother, Frank; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Feb. 7 from Cusick Funeral Home in Somerville, followed by a service in Holy Trinity Church.
