An idea for a ratcheting tool developed by Long Branch resident Angel Delgado is now being made available for licensing to manufacturers interested in new product development. Delgado’s "Magna Socket" will be marketed by Invention Technologies Inc., Coral Gables, Fla.

Delgado began developing the Magna Socket last summer when he was extracting a bolt while working on a transmission in his shop. His invention is a ratchet attachment which holds bolts securely in place until the bolt is screwed or unscrewed complete.
