The Integrated Medicine Alliance (IMA) Physicians of Shrewsbury/Red Bank were recently awarded National Committee on Quality Assurance/American Diabetes Association (NCQA/ADA) Provider Recognition.

The NCQA encourages the provision of comprehensive health care to individuals with diabetes. In order to encourage this provision, and to support the goal, the Diabetes Physician Recognition Program assesses physicians on performance on the ADA Web site, www.diabetes.org.

IMA joins eight other physicians or physician groups in New Jersey who have achieved this recognition. The Alliance will be honored at a dinner in mid-March.

The Central Jersey Women’s Network (CJWN) will hold its next dinner meeting March 12 from 6-9 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, Hope Road, Tinton Falls. The cost is $35, which includes dinner, dessert and coffee. Featured speaker Donna Panarello of UBS Financial Services Corp. will discuss how to handle debt sensibly, and how to plan and learn saving strategies.

The CJWN is a local network affiliate of the National Association for Female Executives. For more information, call (908) 281-9234 or e-mail Redbank@cjwn.org.
