Democratic candidates to speak at Princeton forum

The Princeton Community Democratic Association invites the public to get to know some of the Democratic candidates running for office this year at a forum Sunday.
The session, which starts at 7:30 p.m., will be held at the Suzanne Patterson Center, located behind Princeton Borough Hall.
The invited candidates include U.S. Rep. Rush Holt (D-12) of Hopewell Township and Mercer County Freeholders Anthony Carabelli of Trenton and Keith Hamilton of Hamilton. The PCDO is extending invitations to any other candidates who announce their intention to run for those offices.
The forum, which is free, offers the public the opportunity to meet the candidates and listen to their stances on issues affecting New Jersey and the local community.
A question-and-answer period will be followed by an endorsement vote.
The vote is open only to PCDO members who have paid dues as of Feb. 15. Refreshments will be served.
