Seymour Krueger

   Seymour Krueger, 84, of Clearbrook, died Monday, Feb. 23, at his residence.
   Born in Newark, Mr. Krueger resided in Hillside and Westfield before moving to Monroe in 1978. Mr. Krueger was a graduate of Southside High School, Newark, and was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of New York University. He was a self-employed accountant for over 40 years before retiring.
   During World War II, he served in the Army in Europe. He took part in the fighting during the Battle of the Bulge, earning a Bronze Star. Mr. Krueger was a member and past president of Temple Emanuel, Westfield.
   He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Carol Adelman of East Brunswick, and Susan and Dr. Glenn Jacobs of Toms River; his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Joanne Krueger of Scotch Plains; and his grandchildren, Eric and Amy Jacobs, Steven and Camellia Jacobs, Lisa Jacobs, Ricki Andrew and Jeremy Sturgeon.
   Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 25, at Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple, 222 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick. Interment followed at Beth David Cemetery, Kenilworth. Memorial contributions may be made to either The Jeffrey Andrew Memorial Fund, c/o Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple or the Arielle Eytan Memorial Fund, c/o Congregation B’nai Israel, Toms River. Arrangements were by Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick.
