Dr. Harry A. Bade, an associate at Professional Orthopaedic Associates, Tinton Falls, was recently awarded the Athletic Trainers Society of New Jersey Presidential Award.
The award recognizes individuals who have made a significant impression on athletic training in New Jersey.
Bade is the team physician and has provided support to the athletic trainers and athletes at Monmouth University, West Long Branch; Georgian Court College, Lakewood; and the New Jersey Stallions.
He has also provided on-site coverage for several Monmouth and Ocean County high schools for more than 20 years.
He specializes in sports medicine, total joint replacement, shoulder and knee reconstruction, and arthroscopic surgery. He is also a consultant for the New York Giants.
