Free cancer screenings, education set at hospital

Raritan Bay Medical Center’s Jacqueline M. and Robert N. Wilentz Cancer Center will sponsor a free Cancer Screening, Education and Awareness Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 27 in Auxiliary Hall, lower level of the Medical Arts Building, adjacent to the hospital’s Old Bridge division, off Ferry Road, between routes 9 and 18.

The event will promote early detection and general cancer education.

Qualified professionals will offer four different screenings — breast, skin, prostate and colorectal. There also will be educational sessions and a program offering information on community cancer and health resources. Cancer experts will be on hand to answer questions.
