Tropical birds to land
at Old Bridge Library
"Tropical Bird Pets," a youth program featuring live parrots, cocktateels and owl finches, will be offered at 4 p.m. on April 14 at the Old Bridge Public Library Main Branch, Route 516 and Cottrell Road.
Registration for the program, which is open to youngsters in third-sixth grades, is required and will begin on March 31.
Participants will learn about the care and feeding of tropical birds. Information also will be provided on where tropical birds are found and what they are like as pets.
