Mark L. Allen, 49, of Winchester, Va., died March 30 at his residence.
Born in Hopewell, he was the son of the late Donald and Shirley Brown Allen, He owned and operated Mark Allen Lawn, Garden and Landscape in Winchester, Va.
Preceded in death by a brother, James Allen, he is survived by his wife, Peggy Peterson Allen; a daughter, Heather Allen, and a son, James Allen, both at home; a sister Faye Allen Kapler of Middletown; and a brother Brett Allen of Columbus, Ohio.
A memorial service was held on April 3 at Grace Community Church in Winchester, Va., with Pastor Mike Woods officiating.
