The Edison Scrabble Club meets in the Minnie E. Veal Community Center, 1070 Grove Ave., Edison, Saturdays from 1-5 p.m., and on Tuesdays from 7 – 10 p.m. The club is seeking players, regardless of residence, to participate. WHW to hold ‘work environment’ seminar
Women Helping Women (WHW) 224 Main St., Metuchen, will hold a two-part workshop on June 17 and 24 from 7:30-9:30 p.m. The program will help inspire new ideas and teach new strategies for overcoming workplace stress and conflict says Bethann Albert, LSW, workshop leader. Metuchen Youth will host magic show June 4
The Metuchen Youth Development, Inc. will host its June Magic Show at the Edgar School, Brunswick Avenue, Metuchen, on June 4 at 7:30 p.m. Proceeds are used to educate teens against substance abuse.
