Rosemarie "Roe" Maalouf recently joined the Howell office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage as a sales associate. Maalouf, a resident of Howell, is married and has two children. She is also a trained dental hygienist who visits local community schools in her free time and offers oral hygiene talks to students. "Roe is a talented real estate professional and we are thrilled to have her as a part of our successful team," said Maureen Coopey, manager of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Howell.

Blue Realty GMAC in New Jersey was honored during an awards ceremony at the GMAC Real Estate business conference in New Orleans, La., in March. Blue Realty GMAC was recognized as the "Best of the Best" receiving first place throughout the national GMAC real estate network for having the best agent training and coaching system in the country. Locally, Blue Realty has an office on Route 9 in Howell.

Judith Frusciano of Howell was recently installed as the recording secretary of NJALS, the association for legal professionals, at its annual meeting held in Somerset. Frusciano is a member of Monmouth County Legal Secretaries Association and is employed with the firm of Lomurro, Davison, Eastman and Munoz in Freehold Township.

Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood, welcomes new director Dr. Florencia Santos Cruz as head of its on-site neonatology department. According to the press release, services are available to new mothers and their infants 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year at the facility.

Born in the Philippines, Cruz dreamed of becoming a doctor from childhood. She shares the distinction of medical doctor with four other family members. Cruz received her medical degree in the Philippines in 1988 and came to America to fulfill a pediatric residency at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Paterson. She completed a neonatology fellowship in New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center and N.Y. Presbyterian of Columbia University.

Josette Butehorn, branch manager of Weichert, Realtors’ Howell office, is holding career seminars every Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the office, 626 Route 9.
