The Middlesex County Food Organization and Outreach Distribution Services (MCFOODS) is urging area corporations and organizations to hold food drives to help increase its nonperishable food stock, as the warehouse has enough food to last through July (the next food drive is planned for October).
Items needed include canned and nonperishable items such as fruit, meats, vegetables, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, canned tuna, brown rice and various snacks.
Toiletries needed are soap, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, diapers and wipes.
