The Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation has announced that weekend nature walks will take place at 2 p.m. at Cattus Island County Park, 1170 Cattus Island Blvd., Toms River. The programs are free and do not require preregistration.
In honor of July being "Cattus Island Fruits of Summer Month" at the park, the following walks will take place:
• July 24-25, "Fruits of the Bay."
• July 31, "Wildflower Bounty."

America’s Boating
Course offered in Brick
A one-day United States Coast Guard Auxiliary authorized America’s Boating Course will be held July 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Brick Township Civic Center, 270 Chambers Bridge Road, Brick.
