Kiddie Academy of Kendall Park, 20-32 Gateway Blvd., Kendall Park section of South Brunswick, will open for business Sept. 7, and hold its grand opening Sept. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The grand opening will include various refreshments, cookie decorating, a moon bounce, trackless train, and other activities. North Brunswick Public Library, 880 Hermann Road, in conjunction with DeVry University, North Brunswick, will offer computer classes during September and October, beginning with Microsoft Windows Sept. 1. Microsoft Word will be offered Sept. 15, and Excel Sept. 29. The series ends with an Internet class Oct. 6. The Monday Morning Advocacy Network of Middlesex County will be holding its annual candidates forum Sept. 13 from 7-9:30 p.m. at the North Brunswick Government and Community Complex, 710 Hermann Road. The forum’s objective is for members to address congressional and freeholder candidates on issues of interest to citizens with disabilities such as health care, affordable housing, accessibility, the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), voting, transportation, and education. Monday Morning was established by the New Jersey Council on Developmental Disabilities to encourages residents with disabilities, family members, and representatives from agencies and organizations to work with government officials to enact legislation and creating public policies to help individuals with disabilities. The Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce (MCRCC) will hold its 12th annual "Largest Networking Party" Sept. 14 from 5-9 p.m. at the Hyatt-Regency, New Brunswick. It will feature food samples from several areas restaurants, live entertainment, door prizes, games and other activities. The Middlesex and Somerset Chapters of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners recently merged, and will host a membership drive Sept. 20. New president of the chapters is Rosemarie Strawn, owner of Positive Actions, Piscataway. The chapters have approximately 100 members at present.
