Libraries will be closed
for Labor Day weekend
All 20 branches of the Ocean County Library system will be closed from Sept. 4 through Sept. 6 in observance of Labor Day. The library will resume regular hours of operation Sept. 7. Additionally, the Stafford, Toms River and Lakewood branches of the Ocean County Library will be open from 1-5 p.m. Sundays beginning Sept. 12 through the end of May.
Annual raffle to benefit
women’s insurance needs
The Family Planning Center of Ocean County Inc. is holding its annual fall raffle to raise money for uninsured and underinsured women. Raffle tickets cost $2 each and will become available starting Sept. 1. The winning ticket will be drawn Nov. 19 at 7:30 p.m. at 121 Point-O-Woods, Toms River. The Family Planning Center of Ocean County Inc., 290 River Ave., Lakewood, has been serving the women of Ocean County since 1971 by providing education and medical services.

Jackson Outlet Village
Jackson Outlet Village, Route 537, Jackson, will host live musical entertainment outside the food court every Saturday in August from 1-4 p.m. John Mulrenan will be performing a variety of music from oldies to reggae with his "One-Man Band."
