Allentown Garden Club to meet Sept. 9
The September meeting of the Allentown Garden Club will take place Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Allentown Methodist Church, Church Street (next to La Piazza). Home landscapers will have the opportunity to design an area of their yard or garden with the help of other club members and two local professionals, Heidi Hesselein of Pleasant Run Nursery and Liz Herbert of Herbaceous Borders. Members will then have the ability to implement their designs by purchasing plants at a plant sale for members only at Pleasant Run Nursery on Oct. 2.
The Club meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Methodist Church. Beginners and experts alike from the surrounding area are welcome to join. For more information, contact club president Taryn McCarthy at (609) 259-6526.
