The Jackson library, 2 Jackson Drive, has announced its schedule of computer classes for the month of September:
• Sept. 7, 10 a.m., "Mouse Basics."
• Sept. 10, 2 p.m., "Mouse Basics."
• Sept. 13, 10 am., "E-mail Basics."
• Sept. 14, 10 a.m., "Internet Basics."
• Sept. 15, 2 p.m., "Internet Basics."
• Sept. 18, 2 p.m., "Internet; Beyond the Basics."
• Sept. 20-25, all day, "Business Outreach."
• Sept. 28, 10 a.m. "Microsoft Word for Beginners."
• Sept. 29, 10 a.m., "Internet – Beyond the Basics."

Dare to Imagine Awards
VSA arts of New Jersey (VSA/NJ), New Brunswick, is now accepting applications for its first Dare to Imagine Awards to recognize people younger than age 18 who have made a positive difference in the life of a person or persons with disabilities. Application deadline is Nov. 15.
Candidates must have made an effect that relates to one or more of the following focus areas: corporate and organizational responsibility, education, training and enrichment opportunities, accessibility, and personal commitment and volunteerism. Selections will be made in February and award winners will be honored at a March ceremony.

CONTACT of Ocean
County seeks members
CONTACT of Ocean County is seeking qualified community people to join its Board of Directors. CONTACT is a 24-hour crisis hotline which serves the residents of Ocean and Monmouth counties and surrounding areas. The board meets in Toms River one evening a month.
