The Morgan Magic Girls Fastpitch Softball will be holding tryouts for the 2005 season. The Magic will be hosting both a 12U and 14U team next year. Tryouts will be held at Laurel Park upper field on the following dates: Sunday, Sept. 12 and Sunday, Sept. 19. The Old Bridge Tornados, a U9 travel soccer team, successfully kicked off its fall 2004 campaign at the Marlboro Soccer Tournament on Aug. 27-29.
Their 3-1 record was the result of a total team effort with nine of 11 players scoring goals. The Tornados are: T.J. Amalbert, Nick Carrington, Kevin Casari, Mike Guzzo, Anthony Indelicato, Peter Krzewinski, Tanner Lyons, Bhairav Mehta, Amando Moreno, Tristan Norcutt, Drew Orzechowski, Greg Ruby, Christina Shannon and Andrew Stetson. The team is coached by Glenn Lyons, Rob Carrington and Paul Stetson.
