Anna Melillo
Mrs. Melillo, 69, of North Brunswick, died Oct. 4 at JFK Hartwyck, Edison. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., she resided in Milford, Pa., prior to moving to North Brunswick in 2003. She was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Melillo in 1998. She is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law, Frank and Michelle Melillo, of North Brunswick, Joseph Melillo, of Los Angeles, and Daniel Melillo, of Florida; three sisters, Yolanda Casola, of the Bronx, N.Y., Olga Mangini, of Princeton, and Rose Giovachino, of Congers, N.Y.; and three grandchildren. Arrangements were by The Brunswick Memorial Funeral Home, East Brunswick.
Yeshwant Karandikar
Mr. Karandikar, 68, of Manalapan, died Oct. 1 at home. Born in India, he had lived in South Brunswick before moving to Manalapan three years ago. He was a retired civil engineer. Surviving are his wife, Shaila; three sons, Mahesh of Seattle, Devesh, of New York City and Paresh, of Herndon, Va. Funeral services were private, with Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Loretta Coffaro Sica
Mrs. Sica, 69, of New Brunswick, died Sept. 30 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are two daughters, Lisa Cocco and Dorothy Falcone, both of North Brunswick; two brothers, Anthony Coffaro of North Brunswick and Paul Coffaro of Missouri; and three grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Mount Virgin Church, New Brunswick. Interment was in St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick.
J. Dudley Hill
Mr. Hill, 81, of Milltown, died Oct. 2 at home. He served as chairman of the management program at the Institute of Management and Labor Relations at Rutgers University, New Brunswick. In 1967 he helped establish the university’s Continuing Education Center and was appointed its director. After 33 years of service at Rutgers, he retired as professor emeritus in 1982. Surviving are his wife, Alice Oram Hill; a daughter, Nancy Quattrocchi of the Fords section of Woodbridge; two granddaughters, Amy Ryan and Kathryn Quattrocchi, both of Fords; and two nephews. Services are planned for 11 a.m. on Oct. 7 at Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick. Interment will follow in Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick.
