Victoria Tsang, Oceanport, recently received a Dean’s Academic Scholarship from York (Pa.) College of Pennsylvania. Scholarships are given for one-third tuition per year to entering full-time freshmen that graduated in the upper two-fifths of the student’s high school class and have a combined SAT score of 1,150 or better. A graduate of the Academy of Allied Health and Science, Neptune, She is majoring in premed at the university. She is the daughter of Heidi and Peter Tsang.
Noelle Ribsam, Oakhurst section of Ocean Township, a junior at Ocean Township High School, was chosen to attend the recent National Young Leaders Conference in Washington, D.C. Students were chosen for the conference based on high standards in academics and leadership. Ribsam is active in her school’s French, Asian, science, and character clubs, and studies classical ballet at The Academy of Dance Arts, Red Bank. She will do volunteer work at a local hospital later during her junior year.
