Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4589 and its Ladies Auxiliary will hold a Halloween dance from 7 p.m. to midnight on Oct. 30 at the post home, 33 Daniel Road, Spotswood.
The event will feature food, a costume contest and ’50s and ’60s music by a live band.
Donation is $15 per person.

blood drive on Oct. 28
Congregation Beth Ohr, 70 Route 516, Old Bridge, will hold a blood drive from 6:30-9 p.m. on Oct. 28 in the temple hall. The event, which is dedicated to the memory of Lenore Linder, will be conducted by the Central Jersey Blood Center.
All equipment used during the procedure is sterile and disposable. Donors, who may give blood every eight weeks, must be at least 17 years of age, weigh 110 or more pounds, and be in good health. Signed identification must be presented.
Free T-shirts will be given to all donors.
