There has been a song running through my head lately, an unexpected one that finds its way into my crowded mind. It’s been out a while and, I have to admit, my first reaction to it was not positive. Something about it struck me wrong. And yet, there it is, hanging around in my head, using up valuable resources normally used to calculate batting averages or to analyze public policy.
So, I have to admit it, finally, I like Usher’s "Yeah!" It has a slinky magnetism that burns under the skin, driven by Usher’s sly vocal and Lil Jon’s production (I want to say it is a violin that rockets the beat here, but I can’t be sure) fiery production. And Ludacris offers a touch of lightness with his rap just a great tune that, as Ludacris says, makes "your booty go smack."
