Jennifer Heider, Port Monmouth section of Middletown, recently joined the Edison accounting firm of Amper, Politziner & Mattia as a senior accountant. Based in the firm’s tax department, she will be responsible for corporate, partnership and individual tax returns, multistate taxation issues and mergers and acquisitions. Heider received her bachelor of science degree in accounting at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck, and is enrolled in its master of science in taxation program.

Amboy National Bank, Aberdeen, recently awarded $100 to Charles Tyrrell, Aberdeen, at its grand opening. Tyrrell was one of the top prize winners in the bank’s “Instant Rewards” game held in conjunction with the opening. The bank is headquartered in Old Bridge, and has 20 offices in Middlesex, Monmouth, Mercer and Somerset counties.

Prudential New Jersey Properties, Matawan, announced that Marie Ferraro, Sayreville, was recently honored with the President’s Award at the stockholders meeting of the Middlesex County Multiple Listing System (MLS) held in late October. Ferraro was recognized for having the second greatest number of listings closed between July 1, 2003, and June 30. She has been a member of the MLS since 1987 and provides real estate services in the Sayreville area.
