Mildred Homan Ireland
   Mildred Homan Ireland, 93, died Friday at Harrogate, Lakewood.
   Born in Trenton, she had resided in Pennington for 10 years before moving to Lakewood in 1995.
   She has been a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Morrisville since 1973, Victory Chapter # 96 O.E.S., and a volunteer at Mercer Medical Center for over 40 years.
   Daughter of the late J. Albert and Stella Emmons Homan and wife of the late Col. John W. Ireland, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary H. and Marcia P. Ireland of Pennington and James W. and Ann Marie Ireland of Point Pleasant Beach; two daughters and sons-in-law, Wendy I. and Jim Godshall of Pennington and Virginia M. Ireland and Jim Felter of Alexandria, Va.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, Pennington Circle, with the Rev. Walter Coats officiating.
   Burial will be in Holcombe-Riverview Cemetery, Lambertville.
   Friends may call 10 a.m. Wednesday until time of service at the funeral home.
   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Morrisville, 771 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, Pa., 19067.
John D. Harvey Jr.
   John D. Harvey Jr., 81, of Ewing Township died Saturday at home.
   Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.
   A former owner and operator of Adams and Sickles Pharmacy in Trenton for many years, he also was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Harvey was a former member of the Lions Club.
   Son of the late John D. Sr. and Gertrude Green Harvey and husband of the late Gertrude Davies, he is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, David Harvey of Pennington and James and Nancy Harvey of Palm Beach, Fla.; a daughter and her fiance, Debbie Gabriel and Dave Hardifer of Pennington; two stepsons and a step-daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Faith Davies of Ewing, and Robert Davies of Ewing; a step-daughter and step son-in-law, Susan and Bob Maurer of Arizona; a sister-in-law, Lucille Harvey of Pennington; six grandchildren, Casey, Mollie, Keely, James, Olivia and Evan; five step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, Pennington Circle, with the Rev. William A. McQuoid, pastor of the Pennington Presbyterian Church, officiating.
   Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
   Friends may call from 10 a.m. Tuesday until time of service.
