The New Egypt United Methodist Church, Main Street New Egypt, will host a coffee house in Atkinson Hall Nov. 13 from 7-9 p.m. This will be the first in a series of coffeehouse evenings, which will be held on the second Saturdays of the month. The event will feature Christian Contemporary music by the New Egypt United Methodist Church Praise Team, led and accompanied by Paul Kashella on the guitar. The team currently sings at the 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning service and has decided to share their music with the public through the Saturday evening coffeehouses.
