The Millstone Elks Veterans Committee has adopted a platoon in Iraq, the 472nd Marine Air Wing. The service members need many items, especially the basics such as razors, toothpaste, and free phone calls. The committee is focusing on sending them international phone cards so they can call home.
The Elks members will send the items to Iraq around Thanksgiving so that the servicemen and women can have them in time for the holidays.

Crafters, vendors sought
for Nov. 27 event
The Hope Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary is seeking crafters and vendors for an event to be held Nov. 27 at the firehouse, 82 Route 526, Allentown. The event will also include a bake sale and refreshments. For more information or to reserve a table, call Gerri, (609) 208-0127.
