Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Kenneth G. Pollin has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations. In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Pollin is the son of Vicky Mumpower of the New Egypt section of Plumsted. He is a 1998 graduate of Allentown High School.

Army Spec. Maciej Nowacki has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises. He is the son of Krystyna and Tadeusz Nowacki of Lakewood. Nowacki graduated in 1999 from Monsignor Donovan High School, Toms River, and received a bachelor’s degree in 2003 from the College of New Jersey, Trenton.

Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Artur Loginov, son of Lilia Braun, of Howell, has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. During his six weeks of training, Loginov studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches; participated in rifle marksmanship and field training exercises; and received physical training as well as special training in human relations. Airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Dean G. Morton, son of Tracey and Dave Constantineau of Howell, has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. The six-week training program involved studying the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies; performing drill and ceremony marches; taking part in physical training, rifle marksmanship and field training exercises; and receiving special training in human relations. Airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Morton is a 2003 graduate of Freehold Township High School.
