The boutique will feature gifts from Add-On Patio Showcase, Middletown; Beacon Fine Arts, and Society Paige, both Red Bank; Essenza, Tinton Falls; Janicia Imports, Devon, Pa.; The Northshore, Sea Bright; Le Papillon, Rumson; and So Pretty, Shrewsbury.
The MCHA’s Gracious Homes and Gift Shop will also be open for business, and Suzette O’Brien’s Gourmet Picnic will serve lunch, dinner and baked goods.
Items available include clothing, artwork, spa gifts, and children’s items. Proceeds will benefit the MCHA’s historical properties. The boutique will be held in conjunction with the fifth annual “Victoria Holiday Party,” scheduled for Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. at Taylor-Butler House.
Tickets are $150 per person for the black-tie affair, with Connie Chung and Maury Povich serving as honorary chairpersons. Sponsorships are still available for the affair, priced at $1,000 each. The party will feature hors d’oeuvres by Mumford’s, Tinton Falls; music; a silent auction; and estate jewelry for sale from Gem of an Idea, Fair Haven.
The house will be adorned with wreaths, live poinsettias, mantle trimmings, and table-top theme trees decorated by local garden clubs including the Village Garden Club of Middletown and the Shrewsbury Garden Club. For the first time, the displays will be judged, and an award will be presented for the most spectacular display. Area businesses donating include Add-On Patio Showcase; Guaranteed Plants & Florists, Locust section of Middletown; Sue Kozel/SK Visions, Cream Ridge, Upper Freehold Township; Sickles Market, Little Silver; Bee’s Knees, Red Bank; and Kara Homes.

VNA tree-lighting
ceremony Nov. 30
The Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey (VNA) Hospice Program will hold light its “Holiday Tree of Lights” tree-lighting Nov. 30 at 5:30 p.m. at the agency’s headquarters at 176 Riverside Ave., Red Bank. The ceremony will include a choral performance by the youth choir of Emanuel Baptist Church of Tinton Falls.
Hospice families and community members are invited to memorialize a loved one through the program. The tree will remain lit throughout the season as a tribute to loved ones and the hospice philosophy of care, as well as support for those who have experienced a loss. Proceeds will benefit hospice services.
