Nonprofit agencies in New Jersey that are interested in raising revenues and name recognition through marketing are invited to a half-day educational seminar titled “Putting Together the Pieces of Your Marketing Puzzle” set for 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 2 at the Middlesex County Fire Academy, 1001 Fire Academy Drive, Sayreville. The event is sponsored by the United Way of Central Jersey.

Guest speakers will be Susan Young, president, Susan Young Media Relations, East Brunswick; Denise Anderson, associate professor of communications at Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Pomona section of Galloway; and Gloria Covino, owner/president, Energy Fund-raising and Event Planning.

Dr. Daniel M. Newcomer, 3010 Bordentown Ave., Parlin section of Sayreville, is offering a free first-visit chiropractic evaluation to prospective new patients (and those established patients who have not been to see him in three months) in exchange for donation of a new, unwrapped children’s toy to benefit the Marty Lyons Foundation, New Jersey Chapter. The doctor also will donate $20 to the foundation for each new/inactive patient evaluation. Appointments are limited.

Toys for youngsters ages 5-17 are sought. Current patients also are invited to donate to the drive.

The Marty Lyons Foundation aids critically ill children. The donated toys will be distributed at the organization’s children’s holiday party planned for Dec. 18. Contributions must be in Dr. Newcomer’s office by Dec. 10.

Park Physical Therapy, Highland Park and North Brunswick, will present “Are You Physically Fit to Perform the Activities You Desire?” Nov. 29 at 2 p.m. at North Brunswick Senior Center, 15 Linwood Place; and Dec. 8 at 1 p.m. at Milltown Senior Citizen Center, Violet Terrace. The program will detail the four “key” elements of physical activity fitness, remedial actions, and options for improvement. Eileen Galuskin recently joined Davis Realtors, East Brunswick, as a Realtor-associate.

Galuskin, who attended Hunter College of the City University of New York, has resided in East Brunswick since 1972 and raised her three children in the township.

A member of the Middlesex, Mercer, Monmouth/Ocean and Garden State multiple listing services, Galuskin earned many top production awards during her real estate career, which began in 1984. She has served as project manager on new construction sites in East Brunswick and surrounding areas.

Prudential Fox & Roach Realtors, North Brunswick, has announced the addition of sales associate Joseph Bistany to its staff. He will serve the Middlesex County area of Prudential. Bistany attended Rutgers University, New Brunswick, and is a member of the Middlesex County Board of Realtors. He resides in Milltown and has one son.

Suzanne Katz recently joined the staff at Davis Realtors, East Brunswick, as a Realtor-associate. A lifetime member of the New Jersey Association of Realtors (NJAR) Distinguished Sales Club, Katz earned many prestigious production awards during her career. She received the NJAR Million Dollar Club Silver Award once again in 2003. A longtime resident of Middlesex County, Katz also lists and sells properties in Somerset, Mercer and Monmouth counties.
