    Elks seeks items for

    U.S. troops in Iraq

The Millstone Elks Veterans Committee has adopted a platoon in Iraq, the 472nd Marine Air Wing. The service members need many items, especially the basics such as razors, toothpaste, and free phone calls. The committee is focusing on sending them international phone cards so they can call home.

The Elks members will send the items to Iraq around Thanksgiving so that the servicemen and women can have them in time for the holidays.

Donations may be sent to the Millstone Elks Veterans Committee, Millstone Elks Lodge 2613, P.O. Box 34, Clarksburg 08510.
