Raymond W. Coderre Sr.

Mr. Coderre, 76, of the Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge, formerly of Brick and Summit, died Nov. 18 in Raritan Bay Medical Cemetery, Old Bridge division. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as supervisor of engineering at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. His wife, Marie Tedesco Coderre, died in 1998. Surviving are two sons, Raymond Jr. of Jackson and William of Freehold; two brothers, Walter of Galloway and William of the Millington section of Passaic Township; a sister-in-law, Florence Allocco of the Forked River section of Lacey; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Bernadette’s Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Entombment was in Holmdel Cemetery.

Janet B. Quinn

Mrs. Quinn, 63, of Manalapan, died Dec. 8 at home. Born in Brookline, Pa., she had lived in Manalapan for many years. Prior to retiring a couple of months ago, she was employed at the Monmouth County Library, Manalapan, for 25 years. Surviving are her husband, Thomas F. Quinn; two sons, Michael Quinn, of White Plains, N.Y., and Stephen Quinn, of Manalapan; two daughters, Ann Goodlow, of Monroe, and Cassie Kelly, of Jackson; a brother, Alan Garfinkel, of Nanuet, N.Y.; and eight grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold. Graveside services were held the following day at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association of New Jersey, 1600 Route 22 east, Union 07083.

George W. Christensen

Mr. Christensen, 74, of Freehold Township, died Dec. 7 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he had lived in Freehold Township for many years. Prior to retiring, he was a maintenance worker for Freehold Township schools. A U.S. Navy veteran, he was a volunteer at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4374, Freehold Township. Mr. Christensen was predeceased in 1992 by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Christensen. Surviving are two sons, Cory Douglas Christensen, of Freehold Township, and Carl Drew Christensen, of New Hope, Pa.; a brother, Tony Bartell, of Studio City, Calif.; and two grandchildren, Pvt. Ryan Christensen, who is serving with the U.S Army at Fort Stewart, Ga., and Fiona Elizabeth Christensen. Graveside services were held at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.

John C. Orlick

Mr. Orlick, 68, of Freehold Township, formerly of Milltown, died Dec. 5 at home. Prior to his retirement in 1994 as principal of Appleby School, Spotswood, he was employed for 35 years in the teaching profession with the Spotswood Board of Education. Surviving are two daughters, Susan Orlick of Highland, N.Y., and Cindy Orlick-Poole of Freehold Township; a sister, Ethel Fry of Milltown; two grandsons; and a friend, Susan Apfelbaum of East Brunswick. Services were held at Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick. Entombment was in Franklin Memorial Park Mausoleum, North Brunswick.
