The Music at St. Mary’s concert series at St. Mary’s Church, Augusta Street, South Amboy, will feature two upcoming holiday events.
The St. Mary Choral Society and Chamber Orchestra will perform George Frederick Handel’s “The Messiah” at 7 p.m. on Dec. 18.
The Dorothy Shaw Bell Choir will offer a concert at 11 a.m. on Dec. 19 at the church. Prior to their appearance at St. Mary’s, the well-known young hand bell ringers will perform on Dec. 17 and 18 at Carnegie Hall, New York City.
Both church concerts are free of charge. The public is welcome.
