Middletown resident Beverly H. Linane was recently promoted to director of nonprofit accounting and auditing at WithumSmith&Brown (WS&B), Red Bank. Previously a manager at the firm, she joined WS&B in 1994. She has a concentration in the nonprofit sector, and also functions as audit manager on various nonprofit engagements calling for auditing under Government Auditing Standards, OMB A-133, Department of Education and other prescribed standards. Linane also assists in the technical reviews of other firm engagements with nonprofits, and provides technical research and consultation regarding accounting and auditing matters for the firm. A graduate of Monmouth University, West Long Branch, Linane is a diplomat of the American Board of Forensic Accounting of the American College of Forensic Examiners, and she holds a certificate of educational achievement in business valuations and is a licensed public school accountant.

The Two River Theatre Company, Red Bank, recently received financial support from local philanthropist Judith Stanley Coleman, and JCP&L/First Energy Foundation. The theater will open its doors in May. Coleman and her husband, Chip, contributed $100,000 toward the building of the theater’s new location in Red Bank. The addition of Coleman’s contribution brings the theater company more than halfway toward its $5 million capital campaign goal. The theater also received $5,000 from JCP&L/First Energy, and may also receive a $30,000 grant from the state.

Matawan resident Anthony V. Gentile was recently recognized for continued commitment to the New York Blood Center Inc. of New Brunswick with a $250 PSEG "Dollars for Doers" grant to the organization. The grants are presented annually by PSEG to honor and reward achievements of employee volunteers and the nonprofits the volunteers serve.

Ann Marie Henry, Middletown, was recently honored as "High School Teacher of the Month" for December at the Keansburg Board of Education meeting held in late December. Henry is an English teacher at the high school, and was recognized for commitment and dedication to the students of Keansburg High School.

She earned her teaching degree at Monmouth University, West Long Branch.
