Shootingstar Fastball Softball LLC’s Pre-Season (Spring) Softball Clinic for girls grades three through eight will be held at GoodSports USA in Wall Township on March 13 and 20. Weather is not a concern because the clinic will be held inside the facilities’ bubble on an Astroturf field. The clinic is specifically designed to prepare players for the upcoming spring and summer season. It is for players of all positions (including pitchers and catchers). Defensive fundamentals of each position will be taught, along with hitting, bunting and base running. Cost is $140, with team rates and family discounts available.
Bob DeBernardo will be conducting the clinic. He has been coaching varsity softball in New Jersey 18 years. His teams have won 12 league titles, three county championships, five state sectional crowns and one state championship (32-0 Ramsey in 1991).
