Jean Spatt
   Jean Sobchinsky Spatt, 82, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville.
   Born in Bayonne, she was raised in Manville. She later moved to Middlesex in 1947 where she resided until 1971, and lived in Cranbury, Point Pleasant and the Millstone section of Hillsborough before returning to Manville in 1992.
   Ms. Spatt was a homemaker. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Manville and a member of the church’s Altar Rosary Society. She helped make pierogies for church events.
   Her husband, George Spatt, died in 1986. She is survived by her two daughters, Sharon Ylvisaker of Jupiter, Fla., and Mary Jean Mucciarone of Cranbury; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
   A funeral service was held on Saturday, Jan. 29, from Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home in Manville, followed by a funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Sacred Heart Building Fund, 98 South Second Ave., Manville, N.J. 08835.
