Thomas J. Johnston

Mr. Johnston, 64, of Old Bridge, died Jan. 24 at home. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Johnston; two sons, Thomas Johnston of Bridgewater and Gregory Johnston of South Brunswick; a daughter, Ellen Amen of East Brunswick; and two grandchildren, Erica Amen and Zachary Johnston. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.

Kathleen Hoyt Lukow

Mrs. Lukow, 60, of East Brunswick, died Feb. 6 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. She retired as an administrative legal assistant for Rhodia Corp., South Brunswick. Surviving are her husband, Joel Lukow; a daughter, Kim Gormley of East Brunswick; her father, Carl Hoyt of Manahawkin; and a grandson. Arrangements and services were under the direction of the Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick.

Lawrence Mahoney

Mr. Mahoney, of East Brunswick, died Feb. 3 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He worked as a marine cargo surveyor for 50 years. For the past 15 years, he owned his own company, L. Mahoney and Co. Inc., East Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Jane Boetsch Mahoney; a son, Michael Mahoney of the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick; and two grandchildren, Connor and Ryan Mahoney. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew’s Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.

Angelo R. Casmas

Mr. Casmas, 37, of North Brunswick, died Feb. 6 at home. Born in Elizabeth, he resided in North Brunswick most of his life. He was a surveyor at Amertech Engineering Inc., North Brunswick, the past eight years. He is survived by his father and his wife, Richard H. and Harriet Casmas of Scotch Plains; his mother, Beverly Lutz Casmas of North Brunswick; a sister, Donna Errico of South Brunswick; a brother, David Casmas of Scotch Plains; two aunts; and two nieces. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Feb. 10 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, North Brunswick. Burial will follow at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia section of Woodbridge. Arrangements are by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.
