Lakewood High School class of 1954 reunion

The Lakewood High School Class of 1954 will celebrate its 50-Year Reunion at a gala dinner dance on May 7 at the Quality Inn of Toms River. The reunion committee has been working since last summer to reach all classmates, and is anticipating a large attendance. Several Lakewood High School former faculty members will attend as honored guests.

Committee member Phyllis Conover Gravatt, of Freehold, notes that of 145 graduates of the Lakewood High School Class of 1954, all but 17 have been located. Those who have not been reached are: Robert Aemissegger, Judith Clayton, Gideon Cohany, David Corbin, Max Goldstein, Carolyn Griswold, Fred Haut, Evelyn Humphries, Lloyd Lovgren, Mary Marina, Jean Newman, Bernice Prior, Patricia Rohme, Charles Russell, Anne Turner, Florence Wilson, and Joan Zdenek.

New session of exercise classes to begin in Howell

Registration is currently being accepted for Howell Recreation’s next six-week session of aerobics, pilates, tai-chi or yoga scheduled to begin the week of Feb. 22.
