Nominations must be received no later than March 7.
The Hopewell Valley Foundation is accepting nominations for the sixth annual E2 Awards.
E2 stands for Education and Enterprise, and the award is designed to honor one individual recipient and one corporate recipient who have made a difference in the lives of the children in the Valley’s school district. The individual is chosen based on the time and talent he or she has given as a volunteer, and the corporation is chosen based on its contributions of financial, human, and other resources to local school children.
Anyone in the Hopewell Valley community can submit nominations for the awards. Nominations must be received no later than March 7 and should include both the name and contact information for the person or business recommended and the person making the recommendation.
The recommendation must include a statement explaining why the person or business should receive the award.
Interested persons can visit the Web site: www.hvrsd.k12.nj.us/HVF to obtain a nomination form. Send nominations to the Hopewell Valley Foundation, PO Box 553, Pennington, 08534, or e-mail to [email protected].
The Hopewell Valley Foundation Awards Committee together with the Foundation Board of Directors will select the E2 award winners.
Last year’s E2 individual recipient was Judy Hill in recognition of her leadership role and service to the Hopewell Valley school district, and the corporate recipient was the Hopewell Valley News for their continued support of the district schools.
The Foundation will be accepting individual and group reservations soon for this year’s dinner, scheduled for May 6 at the Hopewell Valley Golf Club. Any group can reserve a table, including PTO committees, friends and neighbors, faculty groups, or parents of graduating seniors. Attendance at this event has been growing annually, so it is suggested that reservations be made early.
