George Paul Arrants

Mr. Arrants, 67, of Middletown, died March 8 at home. Surviving are his wife, Lorraine Rayson Arrants; two sons, George Arrants of Texas and Kenneth Arrants of Monroe; a daughter, Carolyn Fahy of Helmetta; a stepdaughter, Marilyn Ribeiro of Middletown; a sister, Georgiana McCluer of Arizona; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Anthony Nastasi

Mr. Nastasi, 86, of Milltown, died March 11 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Gilda Montanelli Nastasi; a daughter, Connie Kish of Highland Park; a son, Nick Nastasi of Milltown; three brothers, Rocco and Nick Nastasi of Edison and Joseph Nastasi of Philadelphia; four sisters, Carmella Pinizzotto and Catherine Mastrobuono of Highland Park, Rose Coffaro of Long Island, N.Y., and Antoinette Fareri of East Brunswick; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Mount Virgin Church, New Brunswick. Interment was in St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick.

Theresa G. Lepore Glorisi

Mrs. Glorisi, 78, of North Brunswick, died March 3 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank J. Glorisi, and by a grandson, Airman 1st Class Vincent R. Glorisi II. Surviving are a daughter, Katherine Kane of North Brunswick; a son, Vincent R. Glorisi of Monroe; a brother, Anthony Lepore of Edison; a sister, Camilla Senatore of Florida; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Mount Virgin Church, New Brunswick. Interment was in Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick.

E.K. “Kathi” Kovach

Mrs. Kovach, 59, of Raritan Township, formerly of South River and North Brunswick, died March 8 at home. She was predeceased by her father, Alexander Berta. Surviving are her mother, Eugenia Ponciroli Berta of Edison; a daughter, Kathryn Kovach; a son, P.J. Kovach of Denver; a sister, Maria Soos of Milford; and three brothers, Fred Berta of Cornelius, N.C., Alex Berta of Gilbert, Ariz., and Eugene Berta of Trenton. A memorial Mass was offered at St. Catherine’s Church, Pittstown section of Franklin. Arrangements were under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Gladys Evelyn Pope

Mrs. Pope, 88, of East Brunswick, died March 8 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Her husband, Henry Pope, died in 1944. Surviving are a son, William Pope of East Brunswick; three grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a nephew; and her extended family, the children of the late Geraldine and George Heinz. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Ray Rothschild

Mr. Rothschild, 81, of East Brunswick, died March 9 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was self-employed, spending many years in real estate management and investing. Surviving are his wife, Erica Stumpf Rothschild; a son, Alan Rothschild of Jamesburg; a daughter, Susan Daddio of East Brunswick; three grandchildren, Brandy, Rachel and Jaclyn; and a longtime friend, Mary Ellen Sellers. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was private.

Anna M. Dianella Russomanno

Mrs. Russomanno, 77, of East Brunswick, formerly of the Fords section of Woodbridge, died March 9 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to her retirement in 2004, she was employed by the East Brunswick Board of Education. She was predeceased by her husband, Amato “Matty” Russomanno. Surviving are two sons, Anthony Russomanno of Nutley and Rocco Russomanno of Maui, Hawaii; two daughters, Anna Riccardi of Washington and Michele Russomanno-McGlynn of East Brunswick; and five grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Peter’s Church, New Brunswick. Interment was in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.

Richard H. Koeberle

Mr. Koeberle, 70, of Spotswood, died March 8 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was predeceased by his wife, Ursula Schreiber Koeberle. Surviving are two sons, Richard K. Koeberle of Jackson and Steven Koeberle of Australia; two daughters, Paige Koeberle of Pawling, N.Y., and Deanna Sinsheimer of Barnegat; two brothers, Norman Koeberle of Shamokin, Pa., and Robert Koeberle of Sunnyvale, Calif.; a sister, Kathryn Zelen of Tampa, Fla., and four grandchildren. Graveside services were held at Reformed Church Cemetery, Spotswood. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Cancer Institute of New Jersey.

Barbara Louise Walters Dorrell

Mrs. Dorrell, 70, of Spotswood, formerly of Monroe and Old Bridge, died March 6 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Her husband, Nicholas Dean Dorrell, died in 1982. Surviving are two sons, Nicholas Dorrell of Monroe and Robert L. Dorrell of Delanco; two sisters, Dorothy Johnston of Staten Island, N.Y., and Judy Schmidt of Union; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services were held at Eckman Funeral Home, Spotswood. Entombment was in Frost Woods Memorial Park, East Brunswick.

John Raymond D’Antuono

Mr. D’Antuono, 46, of East Brunswick, formerly of Brick, died March 7 in Muhlenberg Hospital, Plainfield. He was a first lieutenant with the East Brunswick Independent Fire Company. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph D’Antuono. Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Petta D’Antuono; two sons, Peter, at home, and Jason of Palmyrasville, Va.; a daughter, Sara, at home; his mother and stepfather, Anna and Robert Thomson of Brooklyn, N.Y.; three brothers, Nicholas of Staten Island, N.Y., Robert of Brooklyn and Louis of Jersey City; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew’s Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Mary E. Marozine Certo

Mrs. Certo, 91, of Old Bridge, formerly of East Brunswick, died March 7 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to her retirement in 1992, she worked for 18 years at Macy’s, East Brunswick. She also was a former owner of Pete’s LaPizza, East Brunswick. Her husband, Peter Certo, died in 1992, and a son, John, died in 1982. Surviving are two sons, Robert Certo of Piscataway and Peter Certo or Orange, City, Fla.; two daughters, Antoinette Rossi and Maryann Volkmann, both of East Brunswick; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Corpus Christi Church, South River. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

Henry “Hank” Sowa

Mr. Sowa, 79, of the Forked River section of Lacey, formerly of East Brunswick and Old Bridge, died March 9 in Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Prior to his retirement in 2002, he was a self-employed travel agent for 26 years. Prior to that, he worked for Hercules Inc., Parlin section of Sayreville. He was predeceased by a son, Richard. Surviving are his wife, Jeanne Zytynski Sowa; a daughter, Janice Blitz of Millstone; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
