The guide answers many of the commonly asked tax questions for both individuals and businesses. Among other rules and regulations, the guide includes the following schedules for the years 2004 and 2005 filing periods: individual and corporate income tax rates, various retirement plan contribution limits and phase-outs, standard deduction and personal exemption rates, capital gains rates, estate and gift tax rates, and depreciation schedules.

Jeff Gitterman, a financial planner and president of Gitterman & Sacks, Woodbridge, was recently recognized for his approach to financial planning at a luncheon held at the Sheraton Hotel at Woodbridge Place, Iselin. Gitterman has earned the nickname “The Educator’s Educator” for specializing in helping college and university professors understand their relationship to money and teaching them how to use smart money management. He is featured in the April issue of “Money” magazine as part of a series called “A Fresh Approach.”
