Raymond George Patterson Sr.

Mr. Patterson, 75, of Palm Coast, Fla., and formerly of Red Bank, died April 16 in Palm Coast. Born in Red Bank, he and his twin brother were the first set of twins born at Riverview Hospital, Red Bank. Mr. Patterson was a police officer in Red Bank for 32 years, retiring in 1986. He served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a volunteer fireman with the Red Bank Independent Engine Company for 50 years, a member of the Red Bank Elks 49 years, and a lifetime member of Policemen’s Benevolent Association Local No. 39. Mr. Patterson was predeceased by two brothers, his twin, Harry, and Eugene. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Florence Marie Patterson; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Raymond and Sharon Patterson Jr. of the Oakhurst section of Ocean Township, and William Patterson of Brooklyn Heights, N.Y.; and three brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul E. and Dorothy Patterson of Holmdel, Donald and Jacqueline Patterson of Red Bank, and Charles and Constance Patterson of Rotonda West, Fla. Anna T. Weiss Schreiber

Mrs. Schreiber, 93, of Holmdel, died April 24 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Newark, she resided in Hazlet for 30 years before moving to Holmdel. Mrs. Schreiber was a homemaker. She was a past member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Keyport, and a past member of the Daughters of America. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, George Schreiber, in 1984; three brothers, Arthur, Edward and George Weiss; and a sister, Edna Pease. Mrs. Schreiber is survived by three daughters, Dale Compell of Hazlet, Barbara Darby of Oceanport and Georgia Stiles of Red Bank; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Entombment took place at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens. The Day Funeral Home, Keyport, was in charge of arrangements.

Francis J. Hull

Mr. Hull, 77, of the Belford section of Middletown, died April 25 at home. Born in Hoboken, he had resided in West New York before moving to Belford 48 years ago. Mr. Hull was a lineman at Public Service Electric & Gas, Secaucus, for 37 years, retiring in 1991. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a communicant of St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Keansburg, and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Secaucus. Mr. Hull was predeceased by a brother, George X. Hull, in 2003. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marilyn Miller Hull; four sons and one daughter-in-law, Richard J. and Robin Hull of Randolph, Terrance J. Hull of Holmdel, and Daniel P. Hull and Francis J. Hull Jr., both of Belford; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Tara M. Kiss of Ocean Township, Erin P. and Steve Kirchner of Rumson, and Tracy F. and Mike Kopacki of Hackettstown; a brother, James Hull of Columbia, Pa.; and 10 grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Ann’s Church, followed by burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. The John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown, was in charge of arrangements. Katherine P. Ryan

Mrs. Ryan, 82, of Red Bank, died April 25 in Red Bank. She was born in Philadelphia. She was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Barnabas Roman Catholic Church, the Bronx, N.Y. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and crossword puzzles. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarke S. Ryan. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Clarke S. and Susan Ryan of Holmdel; a daughter, Barbara Ryan of the Bronx, N.Y.; a brother, Daniel J. Allen of Holmdel; and three grandchildren. Arrangements are by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. A Mass of Christian Burial will be April 27 at 9 a.m. at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank.
