William J. Mannix, 69, died Friday at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Bordentown, Mr. Mannix resided in Hopewell most of his life.
He worked in the automobile wholesale business and served in the United States Air Force. A motorcycle enthusiast, he was a member of Hopewell Valley American Legion Post 339 and the Knights of Columbus.
Preceded in death by his parents Beatrice and William Mannix Sr., Mr. Mannix is survived by his wife of 45 years Jean Dobkowski Mannix; sons Sean and his wife Kelley and Brian; a granddaughter Jillian Ann; a sister Beatrice Castoro; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Princeton Avenue and East Prospect Street, Hopewell.
Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at the Cromwell-Immordino Memorial Home, 71 E. Prospect St., Hopewell.
