The Lakewood Airport Authority is seeking a buyer interested in having its name attached to the airport for a period of 20 years. The name would be on the sign to be constructed on Cedar Bridge Avenue, on the terminal buildings, and on any stationery and advertising matter published or distributed by the airport.

Companies interested may submit a letter of interest and proposal for the name along with a tentative bid to the Lakewood Township Airport Authority, 1900 Cedar Bridge Ave., Lakewood 08701; attention: Bert Albert, executive director; or fax to (732) 370-7789. Pro-posals must be submitted by July 31.

The airport also states that there is a location at the far corner of the airport suitable for a 150-foot-tall cell tower on Airport Road. The location could cover a large area of Lakewood, Brick, and Dover. Interested telecommunications companies can contact the above numbers.

Jan Topoleski has been named as the new artistic director of the Strand Theater, Lakewood. Topoleski, of Brick, is an experienced producer and director with 30-plus years in the industry. Topoleski has produced and either directed or performed in all of the Strand Theater’s staged community productions in the past five years, as well as with numerous other theater companies.

Topoleski’s responsibilities will be producing a community theater series of four staged musicals (one of which will be performed by the newly formed Youth Community Theater troupe, one staged comedy/drama, and two dinner theater productions to be held in the Strand Theater Gallery), as well as the supervision of the annual Summer Theater Youth Workshop.

Randy Corradino, a financial services manager at the Howell office of Allstate Financial Services LLC (a subsidiary of Allstate Insurance Company), has been recognized by Allstate Insur-ance Company for high standards in customer satisfaction, customer retention and financial service sales. Allstate Insurance Company is also the parent corporation of Allstate New Jersey Insur-ance Company.

Because of this, Corradino, a Point Pleasant resident, has earned an invitation to attend Allstate Insurance Com-pany’s Chairman’s Conference Aug. 6-14 in Athens, Greece, where he will be recognized by the top officers in the company. The conference also includes a Mediterranean cruise.

The Lakewood Chamber of Com-merce is planning a luncheon membership meeting Aug. 11 at Monmouth Park, Oceanport. The cost of the tickets is $45 for chamber members and $50 for nonmembers and includes ticket admission to race track, buffet lunch, air-conditioned room and private teller window. The gates open at 11:30 a.m. and lunch will be served beginning at noon. Seating is limited and reservations must be paid in advance. Call (732) 367-4453 for reservations.
