EDUCATION
   The New Jersey State Bar Foundation will sponsor free mock trial workshops for elementary, middle and high school teachers in September and October at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick.
   Teachers in grades K-2 will learn how to use the foundation’s Mini-Court mock trial lesson plans on Sept. 30, 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.; teachers in grades 3-8 will learn elements of a mock trial on Oct. 17, 9 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. The foundation holds competitions for grades 3-6 and 7-8. Free materials will be provided.
   The high school mock trial workshop for teachers and attorney-coaches will be held Oct. 20, 9 a.m.-1:10 p.m. with speakers explaining the contest structure and judging process. Students will enact the new case for 2005-2006.

HUMAN SERVICES
   EduNeering recently appointed West Windsor resident Matt Adlai-Gail as the company’s chief innovation officer. Previously a principal of a management-consulting firm, he will provide direction and coordination to the company.
   Headquartered in West Windsor, EduNeering aims to improve business performance and assures compliance by providing engineered knowledge solutions to corporate and governmental clients, including those in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, energy and food-processing sectors.
NONPROFIT
   The Health Care Ministry of St. Paul’s Inc. recently welcomed its two newest board members, Peter Piccinini and Anne Zuckerman. Mr. Piccinini is an executive vice president for the private client group at Ryan Beck & Co. in Yardley, Pa. and Ms. Zuckerman is a media director for Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick.
   Under the auspices of St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church in Princeton, The Health Care Ministry is a separately incorporated organization which has provided supportive services to the elderly and homebound in the Princeton community for 21 years. Supported by the Knights of Columbus and other donations, volunteers are always needed.

   Mark H. Cieplik has been elected to serve as chair of the State Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of New Jersey. Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating young people about business, economics and free enterprise. Through a volunteer network, JA provides in-school and after-school programs for students in grades K-12. Junior Achievement of New Jersey is based in Princeton.
   Mr. Cieplik serves as senior vice president at Dendrite International, which offers sales, marketing, solutions and services to global pharmaceutical and other life sciences companies. Dendrite’s headquarters is located in Bedminster.
LAW
   The law firm of Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP announced that Jessica F. Battaglia, of Princeton, has joined the firm as an associate in the real estate department. Resident in the firm’s Woodbridge office, she concentrates her practice in planned real estate development and community association law. She has previously provided legal counsel and services to community associations, was involved in collection, construction defect and commercial litigation matters.
   Ms. Battaglia is a graduate, magna cum laude, of Rider University, and earned her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law.
MARKETING
   Amy Balderose has joined the AnswerNet Network as its new national marketing manager. A marketing professional with over six years of experience which includes traditional marketing, design and online-offline advertising, Ms. Balderose will be managing AnswerNet’s yellow pages and Web marketing programs. She is responsible for optimizing corporate Web sites and sales lead tracking systems.
   The AnswerNet Network, headquartered in Princeton, is the world’s largest telemessaging call center business. It is a leading provider of inbound, outbound and e-bound voice and text-based customer contact and fulfillment services.

   Oxford Communications named Bill Hartman vice president of design. Most recently serving as senior art director, he will assume greater responsibility by now overseeing the entire design process from planning to execution. Also recently promoted is Mark Callahan to vice president of creative services. Mr. Callahan will manage the creative direction of the agency.
   New hires to the firm include Karin Suttman as senior media buyer, Lambertville residents Marva Blue as an accounting assistant and Melissa Malek as recruitment coordinator, and Amy Calvo of Pennington, as assistant account executive.
   Oxford Communications provides advertising, public relations and graphic design services for clients in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and Delaware. The firm is based in Lambertville.
HEALTH CARE
   Dr. John Kung has joined Campus Eye Group in Hamilton. Dr. Kung serves as the medical director of the Academic Eye Center in New Jersey and Staten Island Opthalmology in New York. He has performed thousands of LASIK laser vision correction procedures and has taught it to new doctors at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan.
   Campus Eye Group is a multi-specialty interdisciplinary eye care practice.
SERVICE INDUSTRY
   Scott "Tex" Ruderman, general manager of the T.G.I. Friday’s in West Windsor, was awarded the Rock the Team Leadership Award. The honor is given to general managers and directors of operations who best use their coaching skills to help team members achieve results beyond historical expectations. Friday’s is located at the MarketFair.
FINANCIAL SERVICES
   Michele C. Meyer-Shipp joins Merrill Lynch as vice president and counsel in the Office of General Counsel. She will work at Merrill’s Hopewell Township campus. Ms. Meyer-Shipp has spent the past year serving as the director for the State of New Jersey’s Division of Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action, and previously in private practice.
