Danuta Shygera

   MANVILLE — Danuta (Oborski) Shygera died Dec. 7 at home. She was 82.
   Born in Pidwolochyst, Poland, she came to the U.S. in 1957 settling in Manville.
   Mrs. Shygera was employed for many years as a teller with the former Manville National Bank.
   She was a communicant and very active with St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Hillsborough.
   Her husband, Dr. Michael Shygera, died in 1989.
   Surviving are a niece, Mariya Kohut; a great-niece Natalia Sawczenko; one great-nephew Nazar, all living in the Ukraine; and friends, Maria and Wolodymyr Sawczenko of Manville.
   Funeral services were held Dec. 10 from Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home in Manville, followed by a funeral liturgy at St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
