   Five PlayStation 2 video games, an Xbox video game, a PlayStation game console, power jigsaw, bag of potato chips and $4 were stolen from a mobile home on Robin Road in the Monmouth Mobile Home Park between 12:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Monday.

   James Cauthen, 38, of New Brunswick was charged with shoplifting from the Stop & Shop on Route 1 at 9 p.m. Monday, police said.
   Police said store security saw Mr. Cauthen and another unidentified man enter the store and place packages of batteries and razors into a plastic shopping bag inside their shopping cart.
   Police said the other man got away before police arrived.
   Police said Mr. Cauthen claimed he was driven to the store and told to shoplift by someone from New Brunswick.
   Mr. Cauthen, who had an outstanding contempt of court warrant in New Brunswick, was being held Wednesday at Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center in lieu of $1,550 bail.
