Jeremiah Tagliaferro

   Jeremiah S. "Jerry" Tagliaferro, 71, died Friday, Dec. 16, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge Division.
   Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he moved to Monroe in 1965. He was a milkman for Forsgate Farms, Jamesburg, for 10 years before he started his own auto-supply business out of his home in Monroe called JT Auto Supply. He retired in 2000.
   He was previously involved in the Spotswood Little League Baseball Association and Immaculate Conception CYO for 10 years. He was a communicant of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Spotswood.
   He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Rose Marie (Scola); his sons, Gerard and his wife, Paula, of Wexford, Pa., Andrew and his wife, Nancy, of Monroe, John and his wife, Susan, of Plainsboro and David of Monroe; a daughter, Paula Nagy and her husband, John, of Manalapan; a sister, Mary Rose Amendola of Lake Worth, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Nicholas Nagy and Ava, Perry, Christopher, Anthony, Brianna, Alexandra and Gabrielle Tagliaferro; and 11 nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 20, from M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe, N.J. 08831. A funeral liturgy was at noon at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Spotswood. A private cremation followed. Visitation was held at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
