Louis Geijer

   Louis J. Geijer, 65, of Cranbury, formerly of East Brunswick, died Friday, Dec. 23, at home.
   Born in New Brunswick, he attended Fairmont State College in Fairmont, W.Va. He moved to East Brunswick where he lived for 38 years before moving to Cranbury in 2004. He was a former owner and past president of Quality Refiners, Inc. in New York City for 20 years. He then was manager for Matthews Medical Bookstore on the UMDNJ campus in Piscataway until his retirement in 2000.
   He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1962 to 1965, and received his basic training in Texas before being stationed in Germany for three years. He was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in East Brunswick. He served on the building committee and the board of trustees and was a member of the prayer and Bible study group.
   He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Gail (Quakenbush); two sons, Louis David of Cranbury, and Daniel Lawrence and his wife, Allison D., of Almaty, Kazakhstan; his sister Carol B. McCall of Flemington; and two grandchildren, Joseph Daniel and Anna Hope.
   Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 30, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, East Brunswick, followed by interment at St. Peter’s Church Cemetery, Spotswood. Visitation was Thursday, Dec. 29, at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe.
