Mark Seiger

   PINE GROVE, Pa. — Mark W. Seiger died Dec. 23 in Manor Care in Pottsville, Pa. He was 81.
   Born in Pine Grove, he was a resident of Manville for 48 years before returning to Pine Grove.
   Mr. Seiger was employed at U.S. Gypson Paint in Raritan and Sargent Lumberyard in Somerville.
   While serving his country as a member of the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II he was awarded the World War II Victory Medal.
   He was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Pine Grove.
   His wife, Louise C. (Berstler) Seiger, died in 2000. Also preceding him in death were four brothers, John, Edward, Roy and George Seiger; and five sisters, Annie Seiger, Reba Aungst, Emma Hoover, Beatrice Readinger and Agnes Baylor.
   Surviving are two brothers, Elmer of Mt. Gretna and Thomas of Klamath Falls, Ore.; and three sisters, Ellen Krammes, Lucille Krammes and Elizabeth "Betty" Hubler of Pine Grove; and many nieces and nephews.
   Graveside services were held Dec. 30 in the Indian Gap National Cemetery in Annville, with the Rev. Frances Whitehurst officiating.
   Arrangements were by H.L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc. in Pine Grove.
