Due to a reporting error, an article in the Jan. 5 edition of the Examiner stated that Roosevelt resident Elly Shapiro stepped down from her position on the Borough Council after serving one year. The article should have stated that Shapiro chose not to run for re-election after serving one three-year term on the council.
